QR codes are safe when used properly if and only if:

Scan from reputable source.

Use platform support two-layer security, encryption SSL/HTTPS.

Check the link before accessing, especially with public QR code.

Mã QR (Quick Response Code) is form two-dimensional (2D) barcodes do Denso Wave (Japan) developed, allowing for quick data storage and retrieval. This is one Modern data encryption technology, allows for quick storage and retrieval of information and safe, in accordance with the standard ISO/IEC 18004.

QR codes can contain information such as URL, vCard, WiFi, and supports scanning with smartphone. Currently, QR codes are widely used in electronic payment, marketing, and anti-counterfeiting.

Scan with built-in Camera
Open the Camera app, aim at the QR code, and tap the notification that appears. If it doesn't work, check your settings and enable QR scanning.

Use the built-in Scanner
On Android (Samsung, Xiaomi), access the scanner from the quick toolbar. On iOS, open Control center and select the “QR Code Scanner” icon.

Scan with Google Lens (Android)
Open Google Lens from Camera or Google app, point at the QR code and select the desired action.

Use Third Party Applications
If your device doesn't have a scanner, download an app like: iCheck Scan, open and scan the QR code.

On Android, open the photo with Google Photos and select “Google Lens”. On iOS, use the app Note or third-party tools.
